Ocean Beach. Alewife Cove is in the neighborhood and always wonderful to take a look at, and while you're here and you like golf, you can explore Shennecossett Municipal Golf Course. If you're looking for a beach close to Ocean Beach, we recommend Osprey Beach, and spots like Harkness
Memorial State Park are magnificent to stop by. Don't forget to take a good little trip to Fenger Brook. Ocean Beach sees pretty high levels of precipitation; most of the rain falls during November, and the driest month of the year is June. High temperatures at Ocean Beach all
through the summertime are in the 80's. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 60's. Throughout the winter the highs are generally in the 30's, and night lows at Ocean Beach during the wintertime frequently drop into the 10's.
