Paddling on Shepaug River is so much fun, and going for a hike along the Naugatuck Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood. Why not spend some time golfing at a close by golf course like Stonybrook Golf Course, and you can have a fine hiking adventure along the Mattatuck Trail. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this site. You are in the vicinity of Point Folly while you're here at Morris Town Beach, and at Morris Town Beach you can see Apple Hill. | |

Take a hike on the Mattatuck Trail, and Bantam River has a great whitewater paddling spot nearby. Time spent at Litchfield Town Beach right next door to Morris Town Beach is always good, and a spree here wouldn’t be complete without a spree to close by Mt. Tom State Park. Summertime
brings highs in the 80's to Morris Town Beach. When the night sets in temperatures descend down into the 50's. Throughout the winter highs are in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Morris Town Beach are in the 10's. Morris Town Beach is a wet place that gets a great deal of rain; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain, and February on the other hand is the driest.
