There are campgrounds relatively in close proximity to the piece of shoreline where you can pitch that tent of yours. The close by rooms are slightly far away from the beach, but if you don’t have reservations you might end up slumbering in your vehicle. A good location for whitewater paddling in the neighborhood of Long Beach is Norwalk River, and Orchards Golf Course is a good golf course nearby. Long Beach Point is next to Long Beach and is a great place to check out, and nothing beats kicking back at Long Beach. | | Harbor is lovely. You're sure to encounter some good people from Bridgeport-Stamford-Norwalk here, and there are magnificent places to discover along the Regicides Trail. High temperatures at Long Beach during the warm months are in the 80's. Through the moonlight hours it's mostly in the 60's. Highs during the winter are mostly in the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 20's to Long Beach. Long Beach is a wet location that gets much rainfall; through the month of May you get the most rain around here, and the driest month is February. |
