| | Great Hammock Beach is not a fantastically visited section of coast, but it is a fantastically tremendous beach. For all you camping folks there are campgrounds in the neighborhood. The dazzling water and the delightful shoreline is a view worth seeing. Ok, it's been too long since you went outside; Great Hammock Beach in Middlesex County, Connecticut is an excellent location to go. There aren’t any places to stay around here but if you're willing to drive a short distance then no problem but do book a room ahead of going since it is a very popular |

destination. Some of the pursuits here are swimming, whitewater paddling, fishing, and boating, so you won’t turn bored. In Connecticut you'll never lack beach fun. There's some flowing water nearby, Back River is a stream you can visit during your stay, and you are in close proximity
| | to Chapman Point since you're here. Spend the day on the beach at Harveys Beach if you're here at Great Hammock Beach, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Salmon River. While you're here at Great Hammock Beach you ought to stop by Indiantown Harbor, and there are some wonderful whitewater spots on Hammonasset River. A tour to Hen and Chickens Reef is always fun, and Selden Neck State Park is a nice spot to go to. Not sufficient hours in a day to enjoy this spot.
