| | Connecticut is a perfect beach state. The campgrounds here at Front Beach are quite perfect. Front Beach doesn’t have loads of amenities, but being at the beach is such an enjoyable thing to do, and this is a tremendous place to do that. As if Front Beach wasn't enough you can also go swimming, boating, hiking, fishing, whitewater paddling, and golfing, so it's impossible to turn bored. Quite few accommodations nearby, you'll have to go a bit to get to one, but if you don’t have reservations you might end up sleeping in your automobile. It's really not |

A trip to Wharton Brook State Park when you're here at Front Beach is a great idea; there are plenty of people from New Haven-Milford here. Beach, high temperatures regularly reach the 80's. All through the moonlight hours it's regularly in the 60's. Daytime highs during the wintertime are in the 30's; winter nights come with lows in the 20's to Front Beach.
