You can pitch that tent or park your RV at a nearby campground. Esker Point Beach doesn’t have a lot of amenities, but a lot of people like to come here to be in close proximity to the water. While you're here at Esker Point Beach you must take a look at Palmer Cove; if you're looking for a beach close by we recommend Groton Long Point Main Beach. A visit to Esker Point Beach wouldn’t be complete without a spree to close by Haley Farm State Park; a round of golf at nearby Birch Plain Golf Course & Driving Range is a great way to kill some time. While you're here at Esker Point Beach you will meet lots of people from close by Norwich-New London, and some of the water close by flows, like Jordan Brook. Don't leave Esker Point Beach without first going for a hike along the Narragansett Trail; if the       weather is lovely, you obtain a tremendous vista of Fort Hill from Esker Point Beach. Just can't get enough of Esker Point Beach. A wonderful site to check out near Esker Point Beach is Ram Island Shoal, and playing golf is lots of fun at Shennecossett Municipal Golf Course. If   you're here at Esker Point Beach, do take a tour to Esker Point; golf can be played at Elmridge Golf Course. Nothing beats kicking back at Groton Long Point South Beach. For the duration of the summer here at Esker Point Beach, high temperatures generally get into the 80's. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 60's. The winter brings highs down to the 30's while Esker Point Beach nighttime low temperatures during the wintertime are in the 10's. Esker Point Beach frequently gets a good deal of rain; the wettest month of the year is regularly November, that's the one that rains the most while June is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
