An afternoon playing golf at Groton Town Shennecossett Golf Course is always a pleasure, and some nearby water includes Thames River. This place, the Wind River Range, has so much outdoors entertaining stuff. Harkness Memorial State Park is both splendid and scenic, and it's right next door to Eastern Point Beach; for you golfers we recommend close by Birch Plain Golf Course & Driving Range. This ski area is always amusing. Trails Pond Dam has brilliant water scenery and it's near Eastern Point Beach, and naturally, A spree to Frank Ledge is always fun. Averys Hill is painless   to spot from Eastern Point Beach, and a visit to nearby Shenecossett is very relaxing. But wait, there's more to do right next door to Eastern Point Beach. Good hiking is available along the Narragansett Trail, and golf can be played at Shennecossett Municipal Golf Course. So much entertaining stuff to do in the Wind River Range, not enough time. Beaches are good; and Osprey Beach in close proximity to Eastern Point Beach is no exception, and you'll possibly meet some folks from Norwich-New London here. Coming to this ski area is always a pleasant idea. Eastern Point is in close proximity and always good to take a look at, and a tremendous beach close by is Shennecossett Beach.
