go whitewater paddling on Hammonasset River, and Hammonasset Beach State Park is a great site to stretch your legs a bit. For you golfers we recommend nearby Guilford Lakes Golf Course, and since you're here why not visit Half Acre Rock. There are great places to discover along
the Washington Trail. East Rive Beach mostly gets much rain; most of the rain falls through April, and February on the other hand is the driest. At East Rive Beach throughout the long summer days highs are in the 80's. Summer overnight lows descend down to the 60's. Highs during the wintertime are usually in the 30's, and after the sun is down during the winter temperatures at East Rive Beach fall into the 10's.
