Compo Beach is not an unbelievably visited section of shore, but what a perfect place for going to the beach it is. The close by rooms are a bit far from the beach, but do reserve a room ahead of going because it is a very popular destination. Some pursuits here are fishing, whitewater paddling, boating, golfing, and swimming, so one won’t become bored. The campgrounds here at Compo Beach are rather perfect. Getting to Saugatuck River from Compo Beach is trouble-free, and Alvord Beach is a beach nearby that you can visit.
