Beaches are fine; and Grove Beach close to Clinton Town Beach is no exception, and why not take a refreshing hike along the West Woods Trail. Beach is right by the Mattabesset Trail. A spree to Hammonasset Beach State Park when you're here at Clinton Town Beach is never a bad idea, and here at Clinton Town Beach you can catch a sight of Meeting House Hill. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Hammonasset River, and hiking
along the Washington Trail is great fun. Throughout the summer months at Clinton Town Beach temperatures are regularly in the 80's. For the period of the moonlight hours it's usually in the 60's. All through the winter highs are in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Clinton
Town Beach are in the 10's. Clinton Town Beach gets a lot of water; April is when you get the most rain here; February meanwhile is the driest month.
