If by chance you're a camper you can raise that tent of yours at one of the delightful campgrounds in the neighborhood. Circle Beach doesn’t get scores of visitors, but you always have a nice time when you're on it. Connecticut is a nice site for beach folks. A lot of enjoyment is waiting for you at this piece of coastline. If you love the outdoors, you won’t be disappointed; there's boating, swimming, fishing, hiking, golfing, and whitewater paddling, so you could stick |

around for a while. There aren’t any hotels nearby but if you're ready to travel a small length then no problem but if you don’t have reservations you might end up slumbering in your vehicle. Bailey Creek is one of the streams nearby that might be worth visiting, and don't leave
| | without dropping by Hammonasset Beach State Park. Clapboard Hill is clearly visible from Circle Beach; you can have a pleasant hiking adventure along the West Woods Trail. While staying at Circle Beach you could always explore Half Acre Rock, and golf can be played at Guilford Lakes Golf Course. If you're here at Circle Beach, do take a tour to Guilford Point, and since you're here you can take a hike along the Washington Trail. | | you can always go whitewater paddling on Hammonasset River. A spree to Jacobs Public Beach close to Circle Beach is always a pleasant idea. During the long summer days at Circle Beach highs are regularly in the 80's. Throughout the moonlight hours it's regularly in the 60's. During the winter highs are in the 30's, and after the sun is down during the winter temperatures at Circle Beach sink into the 10's. Circle Beach gets much water; of all the months in a year April is the one with the most rain; the driest of the months is February. |
