Why not take a refreshing hike along the Richard Trail, and why not spend some time golfing at a nearby golf course like Edgewood Golf Course. There's some interesting stuff to see at Congamond Lakes North Dike in the vicinity of Babbs Beach, and if you're a golfer then a tremendous close by course is Shaker Farms Country Club. delightful and charming, and it's right next door to Babbs Beach; the County Road Trail offers hiking at its best. Farmington River has a good whitewater paddling spot nearby, and playing golf is lots of fun at Southwick Country Club. Don't forget to pop by Conn Cove while you're
here at Babbs Beach, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Babbs Beach; Link Trail is a magnificent local trail. At Babbs Beach during the summertime highs are in the 80's, and through the night it cools down to the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 30's, and after
the sun is down during the winter temperatures at Babbs Beach descend into the 0's. Babbs Beach gets a great deal of water; the month of May is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest month of the year is January.
