Black Point is not far from Attawan Beach at all; if you want to play some golf, you're in luck because Groton Town Shennecossett Golf Course is in the vicinity. And if you're still looking for more outdoors   amusing things just keep reading. Long Ledge is a nice place to discover, and not far from here you can enjoy the trees of Indian Woods. Baptist Hill can be seen from Attawan Beach, and Cedar Ridge Golf Course is a great golf course close by. Gorton Pond Dam is worth a visit while you're here; on a pretty day you can have a look at Giants Neck Beach. Enjoy a round of golf at Walnut Hill Country Club not far from Attawan Beach. High temperatures at Attawan Beach during the warm days of summer are in the 80's with nighttime lows in the 50's.
