We all have got to stop at the beach every so often, and Wrights Beach in Sonoma County, California is a magnificent place for getting out. There's a load of outdoors recreation available nearby such as whitewater paddling, swimming, fishing, boating, golfing, and hiking, so there's absolutely no way to turn bored. Wrights Beach is not an extraordinarily packed slice of shoreline, and it really is a nice beach. |

This slice of shore is so beautiful. You can pitch that tent or park your RV at a close by campground. This part of California is always a bliss to explore through the warm days of summer. There aren’t any places to stay close at hand but if you're willing to journey a small distance
| | then no problem but you'd better reserve previous to going in view of the fact that these hotels fill up quick during the days of summer. Furlong Gulch is a great spot to visit close by, and Duncans Point is nearby and always great to stop by. On a pleasant day it's a fine idea to spend the day at Shell Beach, and you'll meet a lot of people from Santa Rosa-Petaluma here. This lake is so wonderful. Go for a hike on the Tomales Point Trail, and Sonoma Coast State Beach is a great place to stretch your legs a bit. Scotty Creek flows through this vicinity, | |

and if you want to hit the beach, Gleason Beach is close at hand. So much entertaining stuff to do at Wrights Beach, so little time. Going for a hike on the Monte Rio Fire Trail is always a great adventure; Bodega Harbour Golf Links is a good golf course nearby. From Wrights Beach

| | you acquire a magnificent panorama of Eagle Rock, and a visit to nearby Duncans Cove is very relaxing. This lake is so wonderful. A round of golf at nearby Northwood Golf Club is a good way to kill some time. High temperatures at Wrights Beach through the summer are in the 60's with nighttime lows in the 40's. For the period of the winter the highs are ordinarily in the 50's while Wrights Beach overnight low temperatures throughout the winter are in the 40's. Wrights Beach gets a typical amount of yearly precipitation; January is the month that gets the most rain, and the driest month of the year is July. |
