Peak Trail is always a great adventure. A great place near Wreck Beach is Sycamore Canyon, and a day at scenic Pfeiffer Beach in the vicinity of Wreck Beach is a great thing to do. During the days of summer here at Wreck Beach, high temperatures regularly get into the 70's while
overnight lows are typically in the 50's. All through the wintertime the highs are usually in the 50's, and after the sun is down throughout the winter temperatures at Wreck Beach fall into the 40's. Not much rainfall falls here at Wreck Beach; the wettest month of the year is usually January, that's the one that rains the most while July is generally the driest month.
