Altamira Canyon is right next door to Upper Beach and is certainly a brilliant location to explore; golf can be played at Sea -Aire Golf Course. Abalone Cove is in the neighborhood and always pleasant to stop by; Dockweiler State Beach is a splendid location to stop by. What a location this is for outdoors folks. is very dry here at Upper Beach frequently; February is when you get the most rain here; the driest month is July. Summertime brings highs in the 70's to Upper Beach. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 60's. For the period of the winter highs are in the 60's while Upper Beach overnight low temperatures during the wintertime are in the 40's.
