Lots of folks from Santa Cruz-Watsonville come to Three Mile Beach, and going for a hike on the Rincon Fire Road Trail is always a splendid adventure. Whitewater paddling is glorious on San Lorenzo River, and Three Mile Beach is close to Sandy Flat Gulch which is positively worth taking a look at. | | Creek since you're here at Three Mile Beach. Interesting geology is available here; Needle Rock Point is close to Three Mile Beach, and playing golf is lots of fun at Pasatiempo Golf Club. Table Rock is easy to spot from Three Mile Beach; you can spend the day on the beach at Red White and Blue Beach. All through the long summer days here at Three Mile Beach, high temperatures frequently reach the 70's. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 50's. Highs through the wintertime are regularly in the 50's with temperatures at Three Mile Beach dipping down |

into the 30's all through winter nights. The high level of precipitation makes Three Mile Beach a reasonably wet place; January is the month that gets the most rain, and the driest of the months is July.
