Few hotel rooms around here, you'll have to travel a bit to get to one, but do reserve a room ahead of going since it is a very popular destination. There's camping available near Santa Maria Beach. swimming, fishing, and hiking, so one may stay a bit. While going to this neighborhood in California it's a brilliant idea to pop by the beach as well. On a beautiful day you can take a look at Kelham Beach right next door to Santa Maria Beach, and there are wonderful locations

A day at beautiful Sculptured Beach in close proximity to Santa Maria Beach is a pleasant thing to do; obviously Santa Maria Creek is a picturesque stream that is worth stopping at. There's splendid hiking along the Woodward Valley Trail, and Marconi Conference Center State Park is a great site. A tour to Point Reyes National Seashore is recommended, and don't leave Santa Maria Beach without first going for a hike along the Coast Trail. Santa Maria Beach arrives with high temperatures in the 60's. Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures fall down into the 40's. Through the winter highs are mostly in the 50's while the cold winter nights at Santa Maria Beach are in the 40's. Santa Maria Beach commonly gets a good deal of precipitation; of all the months in a year January is the one with the most rain; the driest month is July.
