Going for a hike on the Oak Grove Trail is always a splendid adventure, and whitewater paddling is great on Little Sur River. There are wonderful places to explore along the Manuel Peak   Trail, and a visit to Wreck Beach is always a brilliant idea. Pfeiffer Beach is mostly a pretty dried out place; through January this area sees the most rain while July is usually the driest month. At Pfeiffer Beach all through the summertime highs are in the 70's; during summer nights temperatures are in the 50's.
