Hit the beach if you want, Indian Beach is practically right here; taking a little trip to nearby Tomales Bay is a glorious idea. Going for a hike along the Tomales Point Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area, and a visit to Duck Cove is always a good idea. If only every location had this much outdoors entertaining stuff, what a great world it would be. Cataract Creek is a splendid local stream, and if the weather is tremendous, you can go for a hike along       the Bucklin Trail. Do pay a visit to Point Reyes National Seashore since you're here at Marshall Beach, and you can have a good hiking adventure along the Jepson Trail. Marshall Beach is a pretty wet place generally with a large amount of precipitation; the month of January is   the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest of the months is July. Through the warmest time of the year at Marshall Beach highs are regularly in the 60's. For the period of the moonlight hours it's mostly in the 40's. Daytime highs through the wintertime are in the 50's with temperatures at Marshall Beach dipping down into the 40's throughout winter nights.
