Cataract Creek is a nice location to go to, and there are plenty of people from Santa Rosa-Petaluma here at Marshall Beach. If time allows, Point Reyes National Seashore is a national park worth stopping at; a brilliant beach close by is Tomales Beach. You don’t have to go far from Marshall Beach to distinguish the water at Kehoe Ranch Dam, and don't forget to stop at Duck Cove if you're here. If only every place had this much outdoors cool stuff, what       a great world it would be. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Jepson Trail, and a day at Indian Beach is time well spent. Hiking along the Bucklin Trail is wonderful fun; do take a hike on the Tomales Point Trail. Marshall Beach sees pretty high levels of rain; January is   when you get the most rain here while July is typically the driest month. At Marshall Beach throughout the summertime months highs are in the 60's. When the night sets in temperatures drop down into the 40's. The winter comes with highs in the 50's; nighttime lows at Marshall Beach all through the wintertime usually fall into the 40's.
