Limantour Beach, Marin County, California   Wavy water and the wonderful California coast is quite a view. The close by accommodations are rather away from the beach, and if you make reservations before heading out you're all set. No chance of getting bored in California if you get pleasure from the beach. There are campgrounds reasonably close to the slice of shoreline where you can raise that tent. A segment of coastline such as this is too fine to pass up. There's lots of outdoors recreation available nearby such as boating, hiking, fishing, whitewater paddling, and swimming, so becoming bored is not     something that is probable to occur. Limantour Beach is not a very packed section of shoreline, and it's always amusing to be here. Go for a hike on the Coast Trail, and Drakes Head is close by and always great to pop by. Near Limantour Beach you discover Limantour Spit which is a pleasant site to explore, and close by you find the Bucklin Trail which is a splendid hiking trail. A spree to nearby Drakes Bay is very relaxing, and if you're looking for a beach nearby we recommend Sunshine Beach. Lower Turney Dam is a picturesque site next to Limantour Beach, and a perfect beach nearby is Santa Maria Beach. So much fun stuff to do at Limantour Beach, so little time. When you're here at Limantour Beach it's always fun to have a look at Marconi Conference Center State Park, and why not take a little trip to Glenbrook Creek since you're   here. Going for a hike on the Beatty Trail is always a nice adventure, and a visit to Point Reyes National Seashore is worthwhile. Through the summertime here at Limantour Beach, high temperatures commonly get into the 60's; the nighttime is a little chillier of course, commonly in the 40's. The winter brings highs down to the 50's while the cold winter nights at Limantour Beach are in the 40's. Limantour Beach is a pretty wet place generally with a large amount of rainfall; most of the rain falls during January while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
