Goat Rock Beach Custom Search   Goat Rock Beach is one of California's most dangerous beaches due to the structure of the shore and the hidden rocks.  The gigantic waves, intense undertow and steep drop off make swimming, boating, fishing, potentially deadly activities.  I also have to wonder at the mention of Tomales Point Trail; I only know of one by that name on the northernmost point of Pt. Reyes National Seashore in Marin County, many miles to the south of Goat Rock, but none near Sonoma beaches.     Says Carole SF Goat Rock Beach is a place where you won’t spot full-size crowds, but it is a very great beach. There's a load of outdoors recreation available nearby such as golfing, swimming, boating, fishing, whitewater paddling, and hiking, so one won't run out of fun stuff to do. There are campgrounds relatively near the segment of coastline where you can set up that camp site. California has such a large number of things to offer beach lovers.
