While going to this vicinity in California it's a nice idea to stop by the beach also. The close by lodgings are a bit away from the beach, and if you make reservations prior to departure you're all set. Alright, it's been too much time since you went outside, and Gleason Beach in Sonoma County, California is such a splendid site. If you're a camper you can pitch that tent of yours at one of the perfect campgrounds close     by. Outdoors recreation is abundant; some of the enjoyable things you can do are swimming, golfing, boating, fishing, whitewater paddling, and hiking, so lacking things to do will not occur. Marshall Gulch is a wonderful place to spend some time at; Gleason Beach is in the neighborhood of Sonoma Coast State Beach which is a charming spot. Don't leave Gleason Beach without first going for a hike along the Monte Rio Fire Trail, and if you're here, do take a trip to Duncans Point. You'll meet a lot of folks from Santa Rosa-Petaluma here; one of the best things about this spot is its proximity to Carmel Beach. Eagle Rock is a peak you can see from Gleason Beach, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Gleason Beach; Jepson Trail is a brilliant local trail. Any time is a brilliant time at Gleason Beach if you go for the outdoors. While you're       here at Gleason Beach you can play some golf at Bodega Harbour Golf Links, and Duncans Cove is very near and is a brilliant place to pop by. Beaches are great; and Portugese Beach right next door to Gleason Beach is no exception, and Northwood Golf Club is a wonderful golf course   nearby. There's tremendous hiking along the Tomales Point Trail, and why not take a little tour to Scotty Creek while you're here. All the water falling down from the sky makes Gleason Beach a wet place; the month of January is the wettest with most of the rain, and July is when it's the driest. Throughout the summertime highs here at Gleason Beach get into the 60's. During the dark hours of summer temperatures plunge down into the 40's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 50's, and night lows at Gleason Beach throughout the wintertime frequently descend into the 40's.
