Why not take a refreshing hike along the Rincon Fire Road Trail, and one of the best things about this spot is its proximity to Red White and Blue Beach. Have a magnificent hiking adventure along the Summit Trail. Summer at Four Mile Beach arrives with high temperatures in the
70's. When the night sets in temperatures plunge down into the 50's. Throughout the wintertime highs are ordinarily in the 50's with temperatures at Four Mile Beach dipping down into the 30's through winter nights. Four Mile Beach gets a lot of water; the month of January is the wettest with most of the rain, and July is when it's the driest.

This is a great noncrowded beach, if you go on a weekday you'll probably have it all to yourself. These beaches up here are way better than the hectic city beaches of Santa Cruz and Capitola a few miles down the road.
