the Cold Spring Trail is a delightful hiking trail close by. Sycamore Creek is a picturesque stream that is worth stopping at, and beaches are delightful and West Beach is no exception. Around East Beach you don’t get a lot of rainfall; the month of February is the wettest with
most of the rain; the driest month of the year is July. High temperatures at East Beach all through the days of summer are in the 90's. Through the dark hours of summer temperatures descend down into the 50's. All through the winter highs are usually in the 60's, and winter nights come with lows in the 30's to East Beach.
