| | the Edgewood Trail. Near Dunes Beach you discover a golf course called Crystal Springs Golf Course; Juan Bautista De Anza National Historic Trail is a good local destination. Venice Beach is a beach next to Dunes Beach that you can stop by, and magnificent hiking is available along the Ano Nuevo Trail. This is no spot for people who don’t like to have fun. Frenchmans Creek is a pretty stream that is worth stopping at, and you should pop by Half Moon Bay when you're here. | | July is when it's the driest. Summer brings highs in the 80's to Dunes Beach. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 50's. High temperatures during the winter are normally in the 50's, and nighttime lows at Dunes Beach during the winter regularly plunge into the 30's. |
