| | Town San Diego State Park when you're here at Dog Beach is a magnificent idea, and taking a little tour to close by Point Medanos is a brilliant idea. If you're a golfer then a delightful nearby course is Tecolote Golf Course; time spent at Ski Beach is always nice. What a site this is for outdoors people. A great place close to Dog Beach is ABs Reef, and golf can be played at Riverwalk Golf Course. Sunset Cliffs is near Dog Beach, and get wet paddling on Escondido Creek. During the summer here at Dog Beach, high temperatures generally reach the 70's while nighttime lows are ordinarily in the 60's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 60's, and overnight lows in the 40's for Dog Beach. Not much rain falls here at Dog Beach; March is when you get the most rain here; the driest month is July.
