Near Clam Beach you find the Rim Trail which is a great hiking trail, and if you want to play some golf, you're in luck because Beau Pre Golf Club is around here. Don't forget to take a great little tour to Patrick Creek; folks from Eureka-Arcata-Fortuna love to come here. fun stuff to do here at Clam Beach. Get wet paddling on Redwood Creek, and Little River State Beach is a brilliant place to go. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Redwood Creek. Clam Beach sees pretty high levels of rain; the month with most of the rain is December while July is
the month with the least amount of precipitation. For the duration of the warmest time of the year at Clam Beach highs are commonly in the 70's with nighttime lows in the 40's. The winter brings highs down to the 50's while Clam Beach nighttime low temperatures through the winter are in the 30's.
