There are plenty of people from Gardnerville Ranchos here at Calawee Cove Beach, and Lonely Gulch is beyond doubt a great place to explore. This is no place for people who don’t like to have fun. While you're here at Calawee Cove Beach you can take a hike along the Pacific Crest Trail - section 14, and Balance   Rock is a good site to pop by while in the area. During your stay at Calawee Cove Beach do have a look at close by Lester Beach; if the weather is nice, you can go for a hike along the General Creek Trail. In case you don’t have a problem getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on American River - South Fork; since you're here, do take a visit to Rubicon Point.
