There is a magnificent hiking trail in the vicinity of Baker Beach called the Bootjack Trail; getting to Lobos Creek from Baker Beach is easy. If you want to play some golf, you're in luck because Presidio Golf Course is close by, and nearby you come across the Ben Johnson Trail which is a wonderful hiking trail. to take a look at, and playing golf is lots of fun at Gleneagles International Golf Course. The vista of Rob Hill from Baker Beach is pretty, and going for a hike on the Temelpa Trail is always a tremendous adventure. Why not spend some time golfing at a nearby golf course like
Harding Park Golf Course, and why not pop by Fort Point also if you're here. Redwood Memorial Grove is worth visiting, and if you're looking for a splendid spree, Golden Gate National Recreation Area is relatively near. And if you're still looking for more outdoors entertaining
stuff just keep reading. During your spree to Baker Beach you'll meet some folks from San Francisco-Oakland-Fremont for sure. Baker Beach is a wet spot that gets a great deal of precipitation; January is the month that gets the most rain, and the driest month of the year is July.
Throughout the summer here at Baker Beach, high temperatures usually reach the 80's. Summer overnight lows sink down to the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 50's, and nighttime lows at Baker Beach through the wintertime commonly fall into the 30's.
