If the weather is fine here at Avals Beach, you can go for a hike along the Tomales Point Trail, and taking a little tour to nearby Sand Point is a pleasant idea. The Jepson Trail is a fine hiking trail close to Avals Beach, and on a lovely day you obtain a nice vista of Sugarloaf Hill from Avals Beach. | | Harbour Golf Links. Near Avals Beach you come across the Bucklin Trail which is a brilliant hiking trail, and a nice place to stop at is Seal Island Bar. There are plenty of people from Santa Rosa-Petaluma here at Avals Beach. Throughout the long summer days at Avals Beach temperatures are typically in the 60's with night lows in the 40's. High temperatures during the wintertime are normally in the 50's, and all through the dark hours in the wintertime at Avals Beach temperatures descend to the 40's. The high level of rainfall makes Avals Beach a rather wet site; most of the rain falls through January while July is usually the driest month. |
